The magnificent silver cup, worth over $100,000, was brought to Hobart last

tables 6 or 10. It is a gala function with raffles, Silent Auction,
Fashion Parade, lucky door prizes, best dressed lady, best dressed

Accommodation Suggestions
We thought that it would be nice to organize some reasonably priced
accommodation near to the racecourse. The accommodation at the
Claremont Hotel is very good and very reasonable, and includes
continental buffet breakfast. Deluxe double rooms $95, Standard twin or
double $75, Standard single $45. Look on the net
Claremeont Hotel
and you will see pictures.
There is a
freecall number for reservations 1800 88 89 78.
this hotel has all mod. cons including electric blankets for those who might think Tassie is cold.
